This short video provides a good overview of tourist attractions and city landmarks in Rotterdam Holland. The first portion of the film focuses on the downtown area which is called “Centrum” . The Millennium Tower, the Sculpture Path, and other attractions are shown. The second portion covers the Rotterdam waterfront district from the expensive riverside townhomes, to quaint harbours and finally to the Port of Rotterdam, the world’s second largest port. The final portion of the film looks at Het Park, a beautiful urban park in the middle of this sprawling city. For more information on Rotterdam, please visit: www.rotterdamholland.ca

  1. I live in Holland/Netherlands…….
Would you please go to Google maps and look at The Netherlands..
Then you will see it yourself. The Netherlands borders Germany in the east, and Belgium in the south. West and north borders the North sea and Wadden sea

  3. Rotterdam is a great modern city known for it's beautiful, weird, unusual, facenating and modern architecture but still combined with nature green, water and there's still a lot of space. Rotterdam is also famous for it's incredible large port which was still the largest port in the world back in 2004, nowadays it's still the largest in Europe and the 4th largest in the world after some ports in China.

  4. Examples of these architectures are the Cube Houses, the Erasmus bridge and De (the) Rotterdam which is a weird formed building that is the largest (not the tallest) building in Europe but still 150m high, watch this video: watch?v=NrTvoluOZ2g
It's only completed for 90% though.

You could also check out Den Haag (The Hague), it's our 3rd largest city and our government and royal family is in Den Haag. it's located next to Rotterdam. It's also a modern city but combined with old buildings.

  5. I just spent two wonderful weeks in Rotterdam in Jan/Feb of this year. I loved it very much. I have good friends from the states who are now living there. I miss it very, very, VERY much. It became almost like home in a very short time. I love NL in general. Wish I could live there….

  6. I'd love to go there. I have several internet friends who live in the Netherlands. Such friendly people. Not at all like the states. Some day if only dreams come true. I doubt if I'd ever return home.

  9. @Tennessee44444 That's the Meuse, a major European river, rising in France and flowing through Belgium and the Netherlands before draining into the North Sea. Plus the majority of the port of Rotterdam is located at the shore. (North Sea)
